Description:

Advanced ophthalmic surgery in horses including conjunctival and amnion grafts, penetrating keratoplasty, the lamellar keratoplasties, choroidal cyclosporine implants, iris prolapse repair, and lens removal surgeries will be discussed.

Target Group:

This is for veterinarians at all experience levels but especially those with a desire to do microsurgery of the horse eye. Dr Brooks has extensive experience in this area.

Seminar Objective:

  • To develop an understanding and capability of performing corneal reconstructive surgery and lens removal surgery in the horse.
